The Cottinelli Tower is a tower of railway signaling and maneuvering. Scheduled for demolition at the beginning of the century, generated a wave of protest because of its unusual architecture and the designer of the building, Cottinelli Telmo, historical name in the Portuguese architecture.

The site was created to inform and mobilize public opinion for the “cause”.

In 2014 the tower is abandoned, but still standing.
